Advertise for God

Like a billboard posing on high
Impress upon the world your status in the sky
A flyer of strength, love and power
Reflecting the Lord in your life every hour

As humble promoter of God’s agency
Create response in the lives of others with holy efficiency
If they cannot see Him through you
The opportunity is lost to become spiritually true

Their belief of religion will become a jumble
In you they will see a mockery of humble
From the glory of Christ they will detract
Worthier spiritual approaches they will reject

For here on earth He has no hands but your hands
He has no feet but your feet
and your eyes should see life as He sees it
Through faith a product of the living Christ I want to be

A banner of recognition of Christ’s Spirit in me
Holy Spirit, inspire and guide my behaviour
for me to truly shine a sparkle of my Saviour
